The National Railroad Museum offers a railroad merit badge to Boy Scouts throughout the State of Wisconsin.
Railroading Merit Badge
The merit badge program follows the standards set by the Boy Scout requirements 33215, examining various aspects of modern freight trains and their engines, Amtrak, the workings and people within a railroad company, Operation Lifesaver and safety precautions, signals and their meanings, and model railroading or railfanning. This program is available to Boy Scout districts as a fall day program.
The National Railroad Museum is also happy to have Girl Scouts join us during the Railroading Merit Badge Clinics.
Upcoming merit badge clinics are scheduled for November 6, 2010; November 5, 2011; November 3, 2012; November 2, 2013; and November 1, 2014.
Please contact the Director of Education for additional information and to register for this program.
