In 1956, a group of Green Bay business leaders realized the need to preserve the vanishing steam locomotive. Their vision has become the National Railroad Museum. Today, the Museum houses over 70 cars and locomotives plus thousands of artifacts.
These early visionaries made tremendous contributions of time and resources to ensure that America’s railroad heritage would be preserved. Now it’s your turn. You are cordially invited to become a National Railroad Museum member. Leave your mark on America’s railroad heritage!
