The Museum is able to preserve our railroad heritage largely because of the generosity of our contributors. Although we are the National Railroad Museum we do not receive tax-funded operational support from either the federal or state governments – not one dime. Our contributors are corporations, foundations, or individuals like you who are committed to seeing that we have the resources to successfully meet our mission. Our donors understand the value of the Museum as an educational resource, a community-gathering place, and a national treasure housing some of the world’s most historic trains. Your generosity is critical to our success. There are many ways in which a gift may be made to the Museum.
